| If you
have been involved in a serious biking accident and
you face the terrible prospect of suddenly having to
adapt to your injuries, you might think your biking
days are over.
Hopefully, this might not have to be the case...
There are some specialist firms that can modify your
own bike so you will be able to ride again. One firm
specialises in manufacturing bikes for people who are
wheelchair bound. Nippi Vehicles Ltd. design a type
of modified scooter ranging from 50c.c. to 125c.c. and
capable of a top speed of 70 m.p.h.
 |
This
well designed machine can also carry you and your
wheelchair. It has a drop down ramp and you drive
into the body of the bike and up comes the ramp
and you drive away.
It may not be the high power sports bike you were
once used to, but it is a great alternative to having
your own independence and mobility. |
If
you would like any further information on Nippi
products, please visit their website @ www.nippi.co.uk.

If you've got any information on disabled biking
- Do you know of any other manufacturers? Or
do you have a story you would like to share. This
is one area we would like to expand upon due to
the high amount of biking-related injuries and the
lack of information available to the public. If
you know something, drop
us a line and maybe other people
can benefit from your knowledge. |
